Fitter, Healthier, Happier.

Strength training has become increasingly more popular over the last few years. It's no longer looked at as a male only activity and in fact, more and more people are starting to see some of the huge benefits it has.

Strength training may well change your life.

Regular exercise can help reduce developing long term conditions and illness', such as heart disease, strokes, some cancers and more.

It can also have a huge positive impact on our day to day living by reducing stress levels, increasing energy, building confidence and also keeping out bodies and bones strong and healthy.

Reduce Stress/ Increase Mood

Life can be stressful at times. It is normal and okay to have days where you may feel a bit down. However, if this is affecting you, regular exercise can increase your mood, reduce stress and have a positive impact on depression and anxiety.

Working out can be a great distraction from work or life stress', a chance to switch off and focus on yourself for an hour or so.

Taking part in exercise helps relax the muscles and relieve tension in the body. There is no doubt that training make us feel great both physically and mentally.

Build Confidence

How does lifting weights 3-4 times a week increase your confidence you might ask?

Well, to start with, you will gain a huge amount of body confidence. Ever look in the mirror and start picking areas apart that you hate? Or maybe try a new clothing item on and instantly your focus comes away from the actual clothing and draws straight to your 'problem' areas.

Strength training enables you to 'sculpt' your body how you wish. The common goal for most individuals is to get toned. Well, strength training will do exactly that for you. When you start feeling sexy and strong in your skin, your confidence increases.

Not only will you gain body confidence, exercise can reduce anxiety, which may lead to you finding yourself building confidence in social ways too!

Keeping healthy and strong

It's so important for us to look after our bodies, stay active and keep fit. We're sure you know the main reasons for this. Looking after our bodies should be a priory, we only get one.

Wouldn't you rather invest a little bit more into your health and fitness and potentially live a longer life?

Strength training also strengthen bones which can be super important as we get older or if you already suffer with osteoporosis. Then there are our organs that we need to keep strong and healthy too.

All in all..

Strength training has many many benefits, these few above are only just touching the surface, which will without a doubt improve your quality of life.
